Last March, Fermiers Landais called on AFNOR Certification, a French certification body, to carry out an audit. The audit covered two specific international certifications: ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. Following the audit, the Fermiers du Sud-Ouest subsidiary obtained a positive opinion for both examinations. This result is the fruit of a collective effort involving all the subsidiary’s teams.
ISO 14001: Environmental commitment
ISO 14001 certification underlines Fermiers Landais’s commitment to reducing its ecological footprint. It recognizes improved environmental management, commitment to sustainability and compliance with environmental regulations. For this audit, the subsidiary implemented CSR measures that were praised by the organization: energy and water savings, decarbonization, etc. These are linked in particular to the Maïsadour Cooperative Group’s AMBiTiON 2030 strategy. This result attests to the company’s ability to optimize its processes while reducing its environmental impact.
ISO 45001: Commitment to health and safety in the workplace
ISO 45001 certification puts the spotlight on employee health and safety management. Indeed, since June 2023, Fermiers Landais has been implementing the “Trajectoire sécurité” project, an action plan in line with the workplace safety approach initiated by the Maïsadour Group. This certification proves that the company has created a safer, healthier working environment, and improved its management of health and safety risks.
Obtaining these certifications is very good news for all Fermiers Landais employees. A continuous improvement approach is now in place to become an even more exemplary company in terms of employee safety and environmental protection.
