The role of the manager: essential to make the link between strategy, explanation and implementation
For Maïsadour and the Group’s Human Resources Department, the aim is to highlight the importance of the manager’s job and to deploy significant resources to provide tailored training.
During co-development sessions with employees and managers from all Group entities, three levels of training were defined, based on a common set of skills and attitudes.
The DNA of the Maïsadour manager
All this work has enabled the construction and implementation of a training plan for all the Group’s managers, over 3 years and 3 manager profiles: executive manager, manager of manager and proximity manager.
Aiming to be a pleasant moment rich in encounters and exchanges, this training has contributed to the appropriation of a common culture and to the creation of a managerial community that shares not only a management culture, common skills and tools, but also methods and contacts that can enable it to continue to exchange and develop.
The "proximity manager" certification
The graduation of the local managers who chose to go through the certification process was the last step of this 3-year program.
Out of more than 300 managers trained, 150 were local managers, including 40 graduates.
This training program for managers is a fair way of highlighting the importance of this function, which is sometimes underestimated, even though it is essential to the smooth running of the Group.
