The Farm of the Futur: a meeting place for nearly 1,200 players from the world of agriculture 👨🌾🌱🐔🚜🤖
On September 12, the Farm of the Future welcomed 1 200 visitors to its second edition in Carcarès-Sainte-Croix (40). This event, organized by Maïsadour and dedicated to agricultural innovation, brought together various players from the agricultural sector:
- 👨🌾 Farmers : Environ 500 farmers from the plants and/or animal production sector were present. They were able to discover solutions adapted to their needs and discuss their practices.
- 👨💼 + de 100 institutionnal
- 🎪 50 suppliers exhibitors
- 🗞️ 9 journalists (trade and consumer press)
- 🍽️ some twenty downstream customers
- & group employees and student volunteers.

🌾 The Farm of the Future: concrete innovations for tomorrow’s agriculture 🌿
With over 50 partners in attendance, the day showcased concrete solutions to transform the daily lives of farmers.
Among the innovations presented, here are those that particularly caught the eye:
💧 “One Smart Spray”, intelligent sprayer: Co-developed by BASF and Bosch, this system precisely adjusts the quantity of plant protection products needed for the crop, thus reducing inputs and their environmental impact.
🚜Agxeed autonomous robot: The AgBot 100% autonomous tractor from Agxeed is capable of carrying out a number of daily tasks, such as soil preparation and sowing, and can work day and night without the need for farmer intervention.
🐕🤖 Robot-dog: Bringing in poultry at dusk in complete autonomy, freeing the farmer from a constraint and improving his working comfort.
This is the ambition of the innovation currently being developed by Maïsadour, in collaboration with the Evotech group. Based in Saint-Geours de-Maremne (Landes), Evotech is behind the Landes robots that assisted the demining teams at the Paris Olympics.
🏠 Connected huts Elevage Service: These automated systems enable real-time management of poultry, making farmers’ work easier.
🐟🌿Fish farming, beekeeping, new crops: A multitude of diversification opportunities in the animal and plant sectors.
The Farm of the Future has established itself as a must-attend event for agricultural professionals in search of innovation and experience-sharing. The fruitful exchanges and technological demonstrations at this year’s event once again highlighted the importance of collaboration and innovation for the future of agriculture.
