Maïsadour is very proud of this achievement. The Group, which had applied with three companies to the regional Usine du Futur scheme, has seen two of them win support from the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region. “It’s really satisfying,” says Michelle Peltekian, the Group’s project manager.
The lucky winners are Delmas, in the aquaculture sector, and Fermiers du Périgord in the poultry sector.
An asset for our industrial tools and therefore our sectors
These two companies will benefit from support (and funding) from the New Aquitaine Region (see below). “The assessments are being steered by the Region, so we’ll have a fairly accurate picture by the end of the first quarter of 2024”, explains Michelle Peltekian. Depending on the conclusions and the avenues for development, the Group will undertake the appropriate actions, depending, of course, on their nature and its investment capacity.
Maïsadour’s aim is to optimise operational excellence and the functioning of its industrial facilities to ensure that its sectors are ever more efficient and sustainable. This approach is fully in line with our Ambition 2030 strategy and reflects the Cooperative’s commitment to its territories.
A scheme piloted by the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region
The Usine du Futur programme is a scheme set up by the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region to improve the industrial performance of intermediate-sized companies (ETIs) and SMEs.
The companies selected benefit from a diagnosis entirely financed by the Region and the State on various aspects (digital, human resources, global organisation, tools, CSR). Based on this, the company draws up an action plan, which is implemented with the support provided by the scheme.
