The selection

Our secret: a rustic chicken breed adapted to this region.
Our Red Label farm poultry come from a rustic breed with a very slow growth, commonly called “bare neck”. The growth of this chicken is two times slower than a regular poultry.
Perfectly adapted to the climate of the South-West of France, the “bare neck” distinguishes itself through its light plumage, fine skin, delicate and slightly marbled flesh.

Corn, generally produced by our breeders, represents 80% of our chickens feed intake. A bit of alfalfa and soybean are added to their feed, not to mention the small delicacies offered by nature - herbs, seeds, insects - which our chickens are very fond of.
