A LOOK BACK AT OUR 2024 SECTION ASSEMBLIES

MAÏSADOUR GROUP
From 14 to 22 November, Maïsadour's board of directors and management met with the Cooperative's farmer members at the Section Assemblies. These key moments in our cooperative life were an opportunity to take stock of the 2023-2024 financial year and to reaffirm our determination to work together to build the future of the farming and agri-food industries.

A time for review and discussion

At the start of each of these meetings, our Chairman, Daniel Peyraube, and our Managing Director, Christophe Bonno, gave an update on the financial results for the 2023-2024 financial year and the strategy of our cooperative group.

This was followed by a review of production in each section. This gave Maïsadour the opportunity to reiterate its commitment to sustainable agriculture and value-added sectors, through the innovative solutions and services it offers farmers.

There was also plenty of time for members to question elected representatives and management on specific issues.

Finally, to round off the meetings, a number of presentations were given on topics chosen in advance by the member delegates from each section. They were led by experts from outside or within Maïsadour, and explored issues specific to each section.

Focus: guest speaker Pascale Hebel, a consumer specialist

At the Haute Lande / Marsan Assembly, Pascale Hebel, Associate Director of C-Ways, a consultancy firm specialising in data sciences, spoke on the subject of consumer expectations and behaviour.

Her speech shed some interesting light on the evolution of consumption in France – in both animal and vegetable production – and on the assets that Maïsadour and its members have at their disposal to meet these needs.

‘The most important thing I remember is that, within your cooperative Group, investment is really managed to add value. The cooperative model and Maïsadour's complete control of the supply chain are real assets in meeting the dual challenge of meeting consumer expectations while creating added value for farmers and their farms.
