GROUPE MAÏSADOUR
The 1st edition of Ferme en Fête in Saint-Sever was held on November 29 and 30. Two days combining exchanges with farmers, conferences and entertainment for young and old.

Friday November 29

The new generation at the heart of tomorrow’s livestock farming! 🐓

Maïsadour was delighted to welcome some forty students to the home of one of the Group’s members, Kevin Pouysegur, for a morning rich in exchanges.

On the program:

Presentation of the poultry industry
A complete immersion into the practices and challenges of this sector, with presentations by the Chamber of Agriculture, Synalaf and Airvol.

Presentation of innovations
Presentation of Elevage Service’s connected hut and straw-blowing robot, virtual demonstration of Evotech’s robot dog, virtual reality farm tour.

Discussions on transfers and installations
The Chamber of Agriculture and Hugo Langlade, Animal Production Development Officer, gave us an insight into how the Landes agricultural community works together to support future farmers.

Thanks to the Lycée de Dax Oeyreluy and the MFR d’Aire-sur-l’Adour for coming along!

Saturday, November 30th

On Saturday, the event, open to the general public, welcomed over 500 people! An exhibition of agricultural equipment, games for children, a mini-farm and culinary activities took place at the Jacobins de Saint-Sever cloister. It was also an opportunity to showcase the Cooperative, notably with the exhibition of our model farm.

This year’s meals were prepared with products from the Group’s subsidiaries, Fermiers du Sud-Ouest and Delpeyrat.

Supporting local events and forging links with student farmers are two of the pillars of our AMBiTiON 2030 strategy.
