Maïsadour presented its results and outlook to its members at 8 section meetings

Maïsadour Group
As it does every year, Maïsadour met with its members at its section meetings held in seven territories in the New France region throughout November: Adour-Armagnac - Périgord - Gironde - Chalosse-Béarn - Marsan - Littoral and Haute Lande. This year's event is open to non-member farmers and clients of Inovitis, Agralia and Elevage Service subsidiaries.

A new assembly format and a very good participation rate

This year, the Group has changed the format of its section meetings to meet the needs of farmers. The meetings were organized around two main events: firstly, a morning session reserved for members, during which the Cooperative presented its results and outlook, before allowing plenty of time for discussions with farmers; then, for the first time, an afternoon open to non-member farmers, during which Maïsadour experts spoke on the hot topic of the cereals and fertilizer market.

During these meetings, farmers were able to explore five themes at the heart of the 2022-2023 agenda: low-carbon production, the structuring of crop protection advice following the separation of sales, beApi precision agriculture, traceability management with Note’farm and finally opportunities for diversification in livestock farming.

This new formula seems to be a winner as 370 farmers attended in total, 33% more than the previous year.

The installation of 14 young farmers: signs of economically attractive territories

Through its Young Farmer’s Charter, the Cooperative provides technical and financial support for members’ installations. These meetings are an opportunity for members who have just set up in business to introduce themselves: this year there were 14 of them.
